Update: I spoke to Mr. Bussey today and he was able to explain the rental/loaner vehicle policy in more detail. After speaking to him, I feel more informed and like someone actually cares enough to explain what’s going on. Originally, I felt ignored and overlooked. He let me know the issue with the vehicle and the suggested fix. He also took steps to help and make everything right. I would do business here again knowing he is overseeing the repair process. I bought my wife a new Chevy Traverse with 46 miles on the odometer in February of 2024 back when it was still Priority Chevrolet. This past weekend, (May 10, 2026), the check engine light came on at just under 29,000 miles. Auto Zone said it was multiple cylinder misfires and bad ECM. When we took it to the dealership, they said it would be at least 2 days to run diagnostics. I asked for a loaner vehicle or a reimbursable rental to be able to pick up my son from school, and was told no. They could put me in touch with Enterprise and I’d have to pay out of pocket. When I called back to see if my bumper to bumper warranty would cover a rental or loaner, I was informed by Bridget that they would not give me a vehicle until diagnostics came back. This vehicle is under warranty with super low mileage. It should not be having issues this early. I bought from Priority and am being treated like I should just deal with it since my purchase wasn’t with Southern. This is ridiculous!
